We are pleased to announce the publications of Oxygen: Parables of the Pandemic, edited by Kalpna Singh-Chitnis, published by River Paw Press.
The book, published on March 21st, 2022, contains sixty-two pandemic poems and flash fiction by forty-five international poets. We at River Paw Press want to thank all contributing poets, writers, and translators of Oxygen: Parables of the Pandemic for their profound work and Sirawich Rungsimanop for his outstanding photograph, which graces the cover of our anthology. We also want to thank our readers and editors for the beautiful production of our book now before you.
“The works in this collection, like rain, water the seeds of our consciousness to break from the illusion of our separateness. In our fragile existence and sufferings, we are one and together, aware of our neglect, the joy of our survival, and the importance of our mindful actions in saving our planet.” ~ Kalpna Singh-Chitnis
A very special thanks to all donors for their support to our “Oxygen” project through which we were able to raise $1195 US dollars in 2021 for “GiveIndia” and “Project Hope” non-profits, to fight the deadly second wave of COVID-19 in India.
