The Silent River Poetry Prize™ is established to discover and recognize outstanding works of poetry by authors residing in the USA. The prize offered in the Poetry Chapbook category is open to all poets, including previously published authors.
While we are open to poetry on any theme, we have a particular inclination toward work that arises from deeply lived experiences—writing that dares to be vulnerable, yet uplifts, reassures, and offers profound insight into the aesthetics of life. We believe in the power of words to reflect, inspire, enlighten, and reveal the beauty and meaning of our existence.

Prize
The winning manuscript will be published by River Paw Press. The winner will receive a cash honorarium, a digital Certificate of Excellence, a standard marketing package, two author copies, an author discount on additional copies, and standard royalty on net sales (terms and conditions apply).
The Finalist and Semifinalist will be recognized in an official press release across all River Paw Press platforms. The Finalist will receive a digital Certificate of Distinction, and the Semifinalist will receive a digital Certificate of Merit. Each will also receive a complimentary copy of the winning title.
