Our Literary Vision

We serve a different literary purpose—we amplify original voices that speak with authenticity, both for themselves and on behalf of justice, compassion, and our shared responsibility to care for one another, our planet, and our place in the universe. 🌍✨📚

Our Mission

We are more than a publishing venue; we strive to be an ecosystem for writers. Our mission goes beyond the printed page. We support our authors holistically. We’re committed to discovering and nurturing emerging voices, shaping their creative path, helping them find their readers, and creating spaces where literature can contribute to a larger conversation and be a force for positive change.

If you are writing from that sacred space between voice and vision, craft and conscience—welcome home!

The Story of River Paw Press

River Paw Press was founded on November 7th, 2020, in loving memories of Troy (April 20th, 2006 -November 7th, 2018), our family dog.

Troy lived thirteen good years on earth. Now he lives in our hearts. He was adopted from the Orange shelter in the City of Orange, California, where he had come as an orphan dog at two.

I grew up with Troy, and we took good care of each other until the last day of his life. He was a loving, mellow, and wise dog with many human traits. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Diwali (the Hindu festival of light), in the morning, due to an age-related illness.

This picture of mine with Troy was taken by mom when I was eight years old. Now I am twenty three.

The first title of River Paw Press, “Paws Healing the Earth” (March 2021), is dedicated to Troy. He continues to fill our hearts with compassion for the Animal world and inspire us every day.
